Another slate of outstanding Canadians are being added to the country’s Walk of Fame.
Among them; Toronto born comedic actor Will Arnett from “Arrested Development,” legendary guitarist Rik Emmett, (who says he was amused to learn his star would be near a stretch of King Street West where generations of his family worked in the Canadian Pacific Express building where Roy Thomson Hall now resides), architect Frank Gehry, hockey great Mark Messier, investor Jim Treliving and speed skater Cindy Klassen.
Posthumous honours went to children’s entertainer Ernie Coombs, known as TV’s Mr. Dressup and Dr. James Naismith, the inventor of basketball.
